Introduction to Fog Analytics

John Wang

This session will provide an overview of Fog Analytics using Azure. Fog Analytics is applying analytics to the data generated by Internet of Things (IoT) devices in real-time. There will be an overview of the following services: IoT Hub and Stream Analytics. IoT Hub provides the device-to-cloud and cloud-to-device messaging capabilities and acts as the gateway to the cloud and the other services. The service enables you to receive messages from your devices at scale, and send commands to your devices. Stream Analytics provides in-motion data analysis by processing incoming telemetry, perform aggregation, and detect events.
